TQM assisted the Drainage Services Department, one of the most complex integrated management systems in Hong Kong, to pass the audit of all integrated management systems with zero non-conformance items on August 7.

The seven comprehensive systems of the Drainage Services Department each include quality, environmental, and occupational safety and health management systems. The size of the department is the most challenging part of this project-1,759 employees of different ranks, educational backgrounds and scope of work. TQM should develop plans for different employees to ensure that the needs of the department are met. Work processes and systems are also simplified to improve efficiency.
