Kick – off Ceremony of LSCM Roadshow 2015
The Hong Kong R&D Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies (LSCM R&D Centre) was founded in 2006 with funding from the Innovation and Technology Commission of the HKSAR Government. The mission of the LSCM R&D Centre is fostering the development of core competencies in logistics and supply chain related technologies, such as Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and to facilitate the adoption of these technologies by industries in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
The LSCM R&D Centre started staging its third roadshow on 15 April 2015. The road show would be held at Olympian City. The main objective of LSCM Roadshow is promoting LSCM’s technologies through interactive demonstrations, and enhancing public understanding of innovation and technology applied in logistics and supply chain management. In the roadshow, LSCM shows their latest technologies on logistics industry and social services sector, as well as other partners’ exhibition.
LSCM has set up an Expert Review Panel for their projects. Dr. Tong is one of the expert members in LSCM Expert Review Panel. Besides Dr. Tong, Dr. George Huang, the Professor and Head in Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, HKU and Dr. Wilson LU from Department of Real estate and Construction at The University of Hong Kong are expert members as well. They are invited to provide professional knowledge and opinion on LSCM R & D projects.
