TQM successfully assisted the Water Supplies Department (WSD)
- Become the first one and the only one government department to obtain an Energy Management System certificate for the entire department
- Examined the energy management of the water facilities in Hong Kong and provided suggestions for improvement, and introduced new energy technologies, such as floating solar power generation systems, hydroelectric storage power generation recovery systems, etc.
The Water Supplies Department (WSD) is one of the most important departments of the Hong Kong SAR Government, providing Hong Kong citizens with reliable and adequate sanitary drinking water and seawater.
Since 1999, TQM has assisted WSD in designing, implementing and establishing a number of management systems and conducting numerous training, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
