China State Construction Engineering (HK) Limited (China State) is amongst the largest construction contractors in Hong Kong. In order to achieve the 2006 Hong Kong Awards for Industries: Productivity & Quality, it invited TQM which is the external auditor of this award for 5 years to be its partner.

Project Scope

• Assist to prepare for participating in the 2006 Hong Kong Awards for Industries: Productivity & Quality
• Review the current situation of China State against the assessment criteria
• Provide appropriate advice and training for improving the organizational performance
• Recommend strategies and methodologies, and facilitate the work teams to formulate the theme and organize the relevant information for report submission and presentation
• Provide advice to improve the submission and presentation materials

Achievements

• Built and implemented an integral system that initiated and encouraged the provision of improvement incentives
• Identified and highlighted major areas for further improvements
• Boosted the team spirit to bring synergy and enhanced performance
